First impressions of this teacher was she being very strict. But after a few weeks of teaching, i realised that she's not so strict after all. She gets angry only when work given were not done. This teacher is none other than Mrs Ramos. She has been teaching me and my class for the past eight months. She is never late and always come to class on time. Although her lesson is quite bland, it contains alot of information which will help me later on when i sit for my 'O' levels next year. She does try her best to make the lessons more interesting with her always so lame jokes. Her fashion style is excellent. Despite giving us alot of homework, she constantly reminds us with the saying , "No Pain, No Gain". She keeps her hair short and neat. I get along well with her. Anyone can get along with her well as she is a very kind woman. She is very strict with her marking but this will help her students in the long run. Overall, she is a good teacher and i appreciate her for teaching me geography and i hope she will teach me untill i reach and ace my 'O' levels.

Since a young boy, I have always found it hard to cry. I do not know the reason for that.
Maybe I always thought crying was only for girls. I did not know that we could cry in anger or joy. However, I was going to find out what it meant by tears of anger one fine day.

It was a hot and sultry Sunday afternoon. I was at home with my brother and my little sister. My parents were out at work and would only come home in the night and for my father the next morning as he was on the night shift. I was sitting in front of the computer playing some games while my brother was watching the television at the hall. I had been using the computer all morning. Then, my brother came in the room and demanded that I let him use the computer since I had used it for a long period of time. Due to my selfish and rebellious character, I refused and asked him to get lost. Being the second eldest in the family he felt very disrespected. This let to him very angry and he used force to get me out of the chair. I struggled and being much heavier and stronger than me, he could not get me out of the chair. He gave up for that moment and went out. I continued using the computer like it was no one else’s business.
A few minutes later, my brother came back in the room looking very angry and frustrated with me. I could only care less. All of a sudden, his ‘fuse’ blew and he got violent and started throwing punches to my arm. As any boy would do, I fought back and threw back punches at him. His punches were not hard to me as I was used to his punching. However, tears rolled down my eyes, not in pain, but in anger. The fight ended when my sister called my dad on the phone and he spoke to us and told us he would speak to us when he got back from work. So, till then i just watched the television as my brother played the compter in the room. At about 2 a.m in the morning, my dad came back and spoke to us and gave us a stern warning that he would punish us the next time we fight again.

After that incident, i realised that tears do not only flow when you are sad but also when you are angry.I also try to be more sensitive to those who are crying and try not to make them more sad or angry.

The word 'gracious' reminds me of my friend name Grace. It is also a word to describe the swift movement of dancers. For example, chinese and malay dancers usually dance graciously to a gracious beat. Talking about the dancers, i just remembered that i have a dance performance later. I promise that i would give it my all and dance as graciously as possible. I am sure that i can be as graceful as all the other dancers or maybe even much more graceful.

Gracious can also be used to decribe politeness. When i was younger, i used to be very rude. I would talk back to my relatives and sometimes i would raise my voice at them. I was often scolded last time. But i didn't mend my ways not untill i was about fourteen. The final straw of me being rude was when i was scolded so badly by my parents. I realised that i had done so much wrong towards my family and relatives. I also just realised that they scolded me for a reason and i did not have any right to talk back. From then on, i became a much gracious person and learnt how to respect elders just like the way they are meant to be respected.

I also remeber the time when i was in primary school and when i was in the scouts. As a scout i was to do many hours of community involvement and that includes house cleaning for charity, going to the old folks home and helping out and also so much more. But then, i did not realise that this was actually being gracious. However, now i know that being gracious doesn't neccessarily have to be a dance. It can also be how u act. Before i go heres some meanings for the word gracious.

Orange is one of many other types of fruit. It is also one of the brightest colour and thus, can be highlighted to make it even brighter. It can also be used to guide traffic at night . It can also be seen very commonly almost everywhere we go. For example,on the roads, theres the orange coloured light in the traffic light. Most basketballs are also orange in colour maybe to allow basketballers to see where the ball is if they play during night time. Cones are also usually made of highlighted colours like orange.

Orange is also one of the seven colours in the rainbow.

In the U.S, the colour orange is widely used during festive ocassions especially halloween when they use pumpkins to make decorations and also make delicious pumpkin pies.

Orange is, however, not really liked by many including me. I also do not like the fruit orange. I do not know why but i just do not like it.

Here's a poem on orange;
Orange Orange is feeling in your stomach after an orange soda quenched your thirst.
Orange is the sun after a summer day.
Orange is the taste of a pizza that just came out of the oven.
Orange is the taste of cold glass of orange juice.
Orange is the color of a carrot that just popped out of the ground.
Orange is the smell of a Tiger-Lilly petal.
Orange is the sound of a canoe paddling through shallow water.
And orange is a color that is safe and alive.

That is all i have to say about the word orange. Thank you.
